I didn\'t think they had a clunk since they do have the fixed orientation.  I could be wrong.

Rig looks great. I\'ve been wantin to do up a single seater for a while now. Was wondering about the out put rotation. What did you do with the engine turned around backwards and all. I get confused when things go from front to back.

I couldn\'t figure it out for a while until someone enlightened me - you just flip the axles upside down.

I thought about that, but isn\'t the pressure put on the backside or wrong side of the teeth on the ring and pinion? Like backing up under a load breaks teeth on the gears. Or is this an area for reverse cut gears I hear about all the time.

ya, they gears are weaker now in forward, but its 2000lb buggy with 90 hp.  i think other things will break first.
