I like your upper mounts a lot.  I think your lowers are going to want to Twizt the tube, they seem awful long.  Might just be the pictures.

are you going to stay with that little shaft showing at ride height?  I figured you\'d leave a bit more compression in there to keep it even lower.  Looks like the tabs are already there for the shocks though so I guess RUN IT :)

the shock mounts im leaving tacked and plan to fully weld after tires are on both axles and im happy with ride height. (also plan to weld them with the chassis upsidown)  i may end up moving the shock tabs on the axles, because the angles arent quiet where id really like them, but usable.

its decieving from the pic, the lower links actually point down toward the chassis.  its pretty low as it is now.

with 42\"s on it, it shouldnt be much taller than 6\'4\" if my measurments are correct.

about the lower link mounts.  ya, i thought about that.  best i could compromise for trying to use existing links.   i think it will be ok.  if not, once the case mount is fully welded in, i plan to run tube from the dash down to it, and could do the same in the rear, to the flats of the lower mounts.   also, i have to make a structure to hold the HDPE i plan on putting under it, so that could be used to give the tube a little help where its needed.

need some more DOM from SMC.

I\'m not talking taller, I\'m talking less sit-in.  more shaft showing but same height.

o gotcha, its at 5\" up travel, which is more than the CJ had and most buggys i see do.

the beauty of air shocks, i can make it what i want with changing tabs.

i got half done, and almost forgot to start to pay attention to propane tank mounting options.  still good though.

going to run them in a \"V\" with a tool bag /cooler grate in the center.

Upper links look farther apart than before.  Will it be enough triangulation or will you be running a panhard too?

triangulation is defiantly a concern on the front. Im trying to get the most as possibly, but i just only have so much room to keep my ride hight and up travel where i want it.  the lowers should have a lot more, hopefully if i can find room for a driveshaft too.

thinking im going to go rear CV shaft and retube the expensive bits i have from the scrambler shafts i had fleetpride make me and go back to round shafts.

Mindless:

\"Can\'t run a panhard and a 4 link.  geometry can\'t work.  you could run a watts link.... but I don\'t think you could get the needed travel out of it.

that axle is way forward.  wow.

looking great.\"

smike:

Mike i managed to delete your post and cut and paste it to repost my post!

well here are updates:

got all 4 tires on and its looking good.  down to two jack stands.

Looks like your wheel base is going to be longer than the CJ?

Looking good, smike!
