i have never had any issues other than getting a cheap portable CB wet and not working very well.

other than that, i have thrown any cable or antena randomness together and never had any issues with 4 trucks.  never been tuned either.  For what we do, we dont need 3 miles of communication in my opinion, so dont worry about it at first.

sweet. There are a few of us who have really taken it to \"the next level\" and become amateur radio operators. It\'s pretty cheap and easy and now I can talk any distance great or small, do voice and digital \"messaging\", track positions and even link to the internet.

I\'m afraid that I\'m not very active anymore, was much more so in Florida (I\'ve never actually lived in 2 land but had an APO NY address when I was in Germany and the FCC used that instead of my home of record)
