My YJ...
« on: March 26, 2009, 10:28:13 AM »
Well after a long day at the office I had way to much energy and stress to spare..
I got in the garage and threw my new lift and shocks on..

5\" BDS springs
5/8 MORE boomerangs F&R
Bilstein 5150 shocks all round...

I will be looking for 35\"s and removing 1\" of body lift..
(currently have 2\")
Need a new front DS and I might be able to skate away with getting the rear one made longer..

My rear shocks also look like they wont compress a whole lot.. I may have to move the shock tower up 1-2\"

Lookin\' good!

I got my drive shafts done at Fleet Pride. I haven\'t been able to test them out yet, but they look solid with professional welds.

I\'d offer to take the 33\'s off your hands when you got your 35\'s, but I don\'t have the funds.

ride?
Dunno.. my rear pinion angle is all out of whack..
Have to get that set before i can move it out of the driveway...

SOA.. nah.. im old school.. lot less problems with a SUA, and everything bolts nicely into place..

I never have had, or wanted a point and shoot rig.. part of the fun and skill in wheeling is knowing that you cant get over everything the way you want and picking a line that you can do.

As far as DS .... I contacted the MFG, asked him if he can do it.. waiting to hear back.

when the boomerangs are mounted like that in the front they act as an anti kickback shackle..
the support pin/bar will hit the frame before the leaf..

as for the tires..

the BFG KM2 are on backorder.. dont know how long..
but make me an offer.. im all ears..
they have between 80-90% tread.. no rust on the wheels.. im originally not from around here ;)
