Title: Members in real life.. networking
Post by: rejeep on February 12, 2009, 08:12:01 AM

Hawker Said: I am an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering at RIT, and I am co-Director of the Laboratory for Environmental Computing and Decision Making. We use computers to model and understand environmental issues.

I\'m a research scientist (that\'s my official title, but it\'s more along the lines of a software developer) at CUBRC in Buffalo.  I work in the \"information exploitation\" group that, based on your group\'s website, seems to be tackling very similar issues to you except from a military/cyber aspect instead of the environmental aspect.  We are currently working with some CE and IE professors at RIT on some other programs.  I\'m actually pretty interested in what you guys do there -- and will likely be making an RIT trip sometime soon...
