[color=000000]This was a pretty good time this past spring.  Info from their flier:

Sand Drags for fun
Trail / Obstacle Course
Mud Pits -2

Raffles, 50/50 & More

We’ve added more rocks, upper mud pit is longer /deeper /muddier.?  Increased length of trail/obstacle course, and added sections with more difficulty. ? ? We think you’ll approve of the changes we’ve made based on your input.

I\'ll go if I have nothing else going on.  I want to but I\'m thinking about Rock Run that weekend and I have a Dakota event sometime in October as well and I can\'t find that date on that right now.

its funny cus thismorning i was just going through the gallery and looking @ pics from this and thought that it looked like fun.

if i can get (afford) tires for my jeep by then im in. i wont be lifted by then so as for the rocks...ill bring my camera and spectate

Hi, this is Kevin from Back Country 4 Wheelers, Inc.  I was just going to log in and post the event, and am glad to see it is already here.

I think everyone had a great time back at our last one in April. We have been working hard on the property and we really do think you\'ll like the changes we have made.  When a lot of you guys came down and gave us your input, we listened, and we think you will approve of the changes.  We are still working, with more things to do, but as you all know it takes time and after each event we have new goals to work towards.

Hope to see you all out at our event.  Look forward to talking to you all again.  If you have any questions or just want to give us a yell, you can email me directly at yaggieke@backcountry4wheelers.com or call the Kevin number on our event flier.

We have just posted an updated waiver form which we will be asking people to fill out at the gate.  If any of you want to get a jump start, here is the link to the form.  You can print it out, fill it out on the way or before hitting the gate and that will help speed up entry.

Hello all, I am a member of BC4WI and just wanted to give you guys a little info concerning our playground. We did add 2 loads of good sized rocks to play on and spread out the garden we already had, we also added a load of big a$$ tires to play on, we have a car to crush (should have a second by the time of the event), we also made the upper mud pit longer and muddier (hopefully the weather cooperates), and changed the trail a little while adding more off camber areas and rocks. We plan on working on the trail more this weekend, if we can get the excavator there.

 Hope to see many of you there, I\'ll be driving my hurced YJ, prolly with my son in tow, so please say hi and introduce yourself.

Hi, just a friendly reminder that our 4x4 play day event is this Sunday, October 26th 2008.  Hope to see some of you come out and spend the day with us for some good ole 4x4 fun.

If you make it out, please be sure to introduce yourselves.  I\'ll be working the gate and I\'ll be the only one with a black \"Marshal\" hat on.  Look forward to meeting some of you.

We\'ve add a bunch more rocks, more tires /bigger tires, lol, upper mud pit is quite a bit longer than before, as well as there is an angle turn in there, deeper, muddier and we\'ve added a set of bleachers for those who want to watch.  Trail /obstacle course has been worked on too adding sections that are more difficult, and of course a by-pass for those who don\'t want to try those sections.

Also, if you guys want to bring one of your club decals or flags, please feel free to post them on our visiting club board in our club house.  We\'d like to have the visiting clubs post their decal /flag or club logo on our board to show visiting clubs who have attended our events. Of course, the intent is to leave them on the board so something that you can leave posted.

Look forward to seeing some of you who I met before at the last event, and who will be attending for the first time.  Hope to see you on sunday.

Where exactly is the meeting place at Exit 2?  On the ramp or is there a parking lot we use?

just curious guys but why not stay on the expressway and get off at the Bath exit, we should have 4x4 signs up from there to our property. It would probably save a little time.



 And I like the, \"nothing....it\'s the Cohocton exit\", thing (sad but true) I used to run the grain elevator right off the exit

Im not sure if im going to make it.
Both axles are in,
rear drive shaft is in,
front axle is 90% done.
need to swap front transfercase yoke,
gotta figure out rear shocks mounts, and weld them in.
no test drive as of yet.but o-well
Ill plan on calling Cora either way sun am.
dam im tired, this swap was alot of work to do in 1 day.

just got home, it was fun except for the drive there and back...  got almost to cohochton (sp?) exit, and the 2wd in the transfurcase went, thought i had blown up the trans.  it acted like it was in neutral, then i put it in 4hi and it went, 4low works too, so its just 2wd that i lost.   good thing i have a spare tcase...
wish they had more stuff, almost not worth the drive down.   still had fun, jeep\'s a little muddy now, although a lot of it fell off on the way back
oh yea, i broke the 1 exhause hanger on my cj, so i think i\'ll put a couple on.

so i\'ve got a good list before we go to wherever we\'re going.

who needs exhaust?...it was cool at first, but it was a LONG ride home with no muffler haha. we had a Blast! I love the trail ride stuff, it did suck for the rock guys tho...too muddy=no grip.

me too.  i worked the gate most of the day so i missed all the fun.  so i will be anxious for the dvd to become available so i can see what i missed, lol

next event i think i will be the picture guy and stick someone else at the gate.  have done the gate now the last two events so i figure next one someone else can do.

so when i see the exhaust come off, that would be you, lol..  i\'ll watch for you in the dvd

I\'ve ordered a copy of the DVD and expect to have it tomorrow (11/06) or firday at the latest.  Once I get it I can let you guys know how it turned out and how long it is, etc, if anyone is interested.

I know they got a lot of footage from the 26th, so it will be fun to watch it.  Since I worked the gate most of the day I didn\'t get to see too much of the fun, but I will def watch the DVD.

Hi, here is an update on the video from our event.  The video is available and is definitely worth the asking price. They have 2 versions, one without all the fancy case for like 13.95 and one with jacket / sleeve, etc for like 17.95.

The video is very good quality, and has a lot of great shots on it.

I am also starting to put some of the video out on our video page as well.  I have just started so this page will be changing constantly.  You can find it at:

From our main page, click on the video projector towards the bottom left or select the video page from the drop-down quick access menu.
