NICE!!!
I really like the cage. I\'ve been wondering how to boat and exo, it looks like you solved it. I might have to borrow some of your design, if that\'s ok with you : )

The boatsides take a little work, hoever they provide a great starting point for an exocage.
I need to add some interior pics, the foot well area looks like a rib cage where the supports all tie in.

You can see some of the floor, the removable aluminium console and the 2003 Dodge Dakota 40/20/40 bench seat.

do you keep the seats out of the rain? Is it an automatic?

yes it\'s an auto, 700r4 behind a 350 chevy, and I run a 241 Tc with a JB conversions super short shaft kit.
I have soft uppers for the YJ half doors that I run, and a full set of steel doors for winter time wheeling. I enjoy warm temps inside the jeep on cold wheeling days.
All of my friends with tube buggies give me crap, when it starts to get bad out I can roll up my windows and turn my heat on.

not a bad idea. I just acquired a scrambler hard cab. I\'m still planning how I\'m going to build my baby exo. I plan to start work next week.

My scrambler top is still removable through the center of the cage. I plan to add some triangulation (insert pirate4X4 smiley here) on the roof area using the nicer tube clamps with the allen bolts. It\'ll add a bunch of strength, still allowing me to remove the half cab.
Did you get the bulk head to go with the top?
If you have any questions, or want to bounce ideas back and forth, just let me know.
By the way, using the bench seat, I can seat 3 people all with harnesses.
Also, the piece of bent tube ove the bed of the scrambler, received the spare tire mount and tire last night.

I really love the Dakota seat. Three harnesses to go with it is fantastic.

what about the smelly sock smell when the seats get wet?

I try to keep them fairly dry, between the hard top and 2 sets of doors, it\'s not bad. During the summer I carry a bikini top inthe tote mounted in the jeep bed.
