To whoever might be interested in a memory and an encouragement ...
When I logged into the FLX 4x4 site just now, the "in action" welcome photo showed Paul in his CJ in a mud hole at Whispering Pines. He is looking out the window calmly with a "we'll get this" smile. I was there, but I do not remember the result. But I do remember that "we'll get this" smile.
We always have enough club members on a ride to dig people out of interesting situations. And that is not just digging out of mud. Rocks, broken axles, oil pans that took a hit, sliding down a hill chasing a leprechaun (ask me). Normal trail rash. Trust me. My companion club members have saved my ass numerous times. And I smiled through-out!
I always wonder what AAA roadside would say if I say "trail 13 at Rausch." (BTW, Rausch trail 13 does not like my Jeep and its bad driver. but we get through.) FLX 4x4 can do what AAA doesn't have a chance of doing! They help me go wheelin' ! I smile like Paul smiled in his "in action" photo.

And this time I saw I revered member in his early 571 racing buggy. Driver also leaning out the "window" saying, "we got this."

We’ve always got this! I love seeing those classics, too. Great memories for us old folks :)
