Title: Tapatalk & SMF updated
Post by: MrMindless on May 07, 2014, 08:37:58 AM
Please let me know of any issues. I disabled tapatalk advertising for registered users - making that change was the main thing I was after: I was tired of the second post always being a Chevy ad!

IIRC there's something with having to manually update the forum-side password for a new user to get in via tapatalk. Anyone else remember details on that, if it breaks anything or of the end user can just do it themselves?

I did not change his password I just made sure his SMF primary membership was set to Club Member, which is normally the issue we have seen.  He was already there so I made sure to reset it, to see if that would fix the issue, not making any guarantees.

Now that I'm away from a computer and it's annoying to fix - I seem to recall that the integration between xoops and smf uses an auto generated password for the smf account, and that password needs to be reset so it can be used by the user to log in with.
