I need a top shift Toyota transfer case for my buggy. the Samurai case lasted about an hour with the new motor.

Why not a dana 300?  

That will also give you front dig capabilities.

I found a toyota case.

I already run Toyota flanged driveshafts and i found an adapter to conver the Toyota case to divorced. SO it should be a pretty easy swap.
