Title: MICKEY THOMPSON BAJA MTZ Tires
Post by: ollllllo on March 26, 2010, 02:53:03 AM
Just got these installed today!
Mickey Thompson Baka MTZ E rated 35x12.5x18
I haven\'t even driven the truck yet... So I will update this topic as I add some mileage to the tires.
I have been extremely happy with the Mickey Thompson Baja Claws I have run both on the road and on the trails on my Street Legal CJ7. So I\'m expecting similar results with these.
Stay Tuned!

UPDATE! They have about 5k on them and its time for a rotation. Experiencing some road noise once they started to wear. Overall Im very, very happy with them.
They perform great while trailering also. I expected the extra tread depth to create that squishy feeling on the highway, but I haven\'t experienced anything. Pulling heavy loads in gravel / stone, mud, grass, they always hook up well.
Highly recommend!
As of now... I give them a 9 out of 10.
If they weren\'t so dam expensive, ($330.00 ea.) they would get a 10!
also...Mickey Thompson claims 33% more tread depth than their competition. :-D
