then whats the point? the point was to promote website usage and club growth.

not everyone is a paying member of the club.

thats why its in the public area. so that EVERYONE can enjoy talking to etchother and getting to know one and other better.

I feel that if i want to start a thread to talk about the snow storm in the public area then thats ok. If its a problem then I would expect a current board member to tell me otherwise.

Nothing wrong with giving it a shot IMO Cora. There\'s no reason anyone can\'t start a thread on anything they like.

I\'ll be glad to have you in the ranks Arie. But I\'m not joining you for morning coffee! Waaay too early for my taste. Unless it\'s for WHEELING! :)

Hey, someone got the Jason Ellis reference!

Love that dude.

Funniest show on radio (satalite)

Does anyone listen to howard anymore?
I got bored of the show after a year or so since he came to satalite. Ironically the only reason I got sirius in the first place

Great so far. I was slightly worried about there performance in the snow being so wide, but they stick great, however there is only like 3k on them so far.

I have 40 k on my procomps and thy are quite bald but they stick good in the snow. I think they float more than dig.

70+ in the snow fri all the way rochester - massachusetts. No issues (untill we hit freezing rain on bridges)

I can\'t seem to post pics from droid to forum. I\'m gonna look into that

actually looks like they have 285-65-r18(33x11.5) and 275-70-r18(33x11) both e-rated, little on the narrow side of what your looking for though

I\'d like to \"try\" a 31x10.5 on the xj to see how much trimming I need to do to fit it, I only have a 1.5\" Budget boost and saggy springs.

Working retail is fun.. Fairly confident in saying that puting away sandels at Target sucks way more than playing with rotors, dare I even say batteries at Nu Way

My last day at Nu Way Buffalo is Tomorrow. I won\'t go into it to deep because it\'s a sponsor of the club and a popular place to buy parts for a lot of the GM Dealers and Repair shops across WNY. But I will say that I am very happy to get out of there. I\'m hoping other Nu Way Stores are different in that I wouldn\'t wish working an inside the building position at the Buffalo store on anybody.

As an EMPLOYER myself...I feel its safe to say not every person fits into every working environment. Some people just disrupt the MOJO of a crew! I have seen it time and time again. An employee can start Monday morning, and some of them strategically take their tools out to lunch with them, only to never return, nor ask to be paid for the half days work the just performed. A well oiled work crew is like an engine...if some dirt gets into the intake, things get ugly fast.

Since I havent received a paycheck from a company other than from my own since 1997, Im a little bias. But we all appreciate your discretion.

Sorry to hear you had a negative experience working for NUWAY. I have found NU-WAY and HAHN Automotive to employ some of the most professional and knowledgeable people in the business.

XJ, it takes hard work and determination to overcome those types of hurdles. Best of luck in Florida!

Erik..
thought provocative and very true.
Sometimes people just don’t mesh well with one another.. happens all the time.. work, play, school, whatever…

XJ,
since you brought it up.. and you might have some constructive criticism on how to improve an operation... I wouldn’t mind knowing more...

Feel free to post, email, or call..  It takes a lot to offend me..

I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors..

An employer / management create a work environment as well. It may fit with your personality or it may not and you may be partly to blame (expecting opportunity that did not exist, for instance). An employer can be welcoming or expect you to conform. Look at it more as it was not a good fit, vs a bad place to work.

In any case its experience to grow from on both sides. I urge you to think about what made you dissatisfied and let them know. Especially if they are willing to listen.
