i thought i saw somewhere on here tentative plans to hit Whispering pines on July 19th. i was already working on the old lady to be able to go, but now i dont see anything on here about it. am i mistaken about seeing this?
im going to RC at the end of august so i dont think i can go twice in such a short time to be able to go on the RC trip you guys are gearin up for now

I am also a little foggy on the subject, except that i want be there both days, sat afternoon and all day sun if at all possible!
I\'ve a few first timer friends I want to bring, but they don\'t meet trail requirements, I was thinking of leading them sat afternoon? on our own as to not step on toes? unless the ride is as open as 101 was... ?

I\'m not sure really. the 2 newbs i have cant go both days, so sunday 19 is best for all of mine.
I cant get enough right now, So if you want to go sat too? I can get out of work 12 noonish in fairport and head out. Wheel until dinner. I\'d be just 1 then.
Whitebomb, Do you just want to test run something or? You really want to come out sunday and meet these MUDNUTS guys!

We are definitely planning to come out Sunday. We were just going to go Saturday also, if you were going, and learn what we could. We\'re cool with just Sunday, if that\'s what\'s working best.

Out for the 19th. Damaged a tire beyond repair. So between getting another MT and having my tires balanced as they needed to be I am out of long distance funds until August :-( . Have fun and wheel safe..

Sorry for the late reply but, YES i would like to go 7/18 sat but might only be available for afternoon 1pm-close ride? does this work with anyone else?
If i\'m one maybe wingman2 and whitebomb3? 3 would be enough to be comfortable.
I am also still in for 7/19 sunday with 1 newb rig.

My son and I plan to be there Saturday (one vehicle). This will be the first time off-road, if that\'s not a problem. Since there will only be a few there, don\'t want to hold you up.
We also still plan to come Sunday at this point.

I would like to come on one of the two days this weekend, but since nobody posted an official \"Event\" it is not clear when, who, where to meet, etc. I\'m all cunfoozled (not unusual, though!).
Also, since Saturday is Whispering Pines\'s Summer Fun In the Sun, we should have a count so Charlie knows how many to prepare for, and tell him if we want food.
If it is Sunday, we need to let them know, too.

Scott! would you be interested in seeing if charlie would ride along with your GPS on the new trails on the other land? Last i spoke he wants to ride the first time and show us around and see if its at all passable still.

Yes, I would be glad to ride with Charlie with my GPS. Since I have a stock rig, I would like to have a companion to drag me out of the mud, or we could go in another rig.
I lost Charlie\'s phone number, but I could probably find him through WP to plan a time.

My son and I had a great time. At least he got his first off-roading experience before he was over 50! Better late then never though...
We really appreciated all the help and advice and will be there again. Still have the check engine light. Deal with that tomorrow.

looks like i wont be able to make it sunday! the seal on my water pump is leaking all over my driveway and i cant get it to stop. looks like my lift money and my wheelin day will be fixing that problem. going to post to try to find out if it is a fix i would be able to do myself in the other section. hope you all have a great time and please take tons of pics for me and the wife so we can get pissed for not being able to go.

Looks like you guys were having a good time out there. Hopefully next time I\'ll have the truck ready to wheel. For now I\'ll just have to stick to the quad. I didn\'t get as many pictures as I had hoped since my batteries died but I\'ll post the ones I did get as soon as I can.
