i would suggest a group getting there very early Friday or even thursday if we can to get a descent camp set up. it will be packed. i called camp awhile today too, and they have tent sites open as of now. but she said it will fill up because of the competition fast. i was planing on reserving one for those of us not competing. if the Crackers and the K9\'s are going we might want to get two sites like we did last year a couple times. i \"think\" it was 25$ a night for 4 adults which they are flexable on.

We are going to have a lot of trailers and tow rigs this year. Is there a better place to camp with that in mind?

pleanty of room at campawhile last year. i like camping at rausch, thats my first choice.

the 40 footer will be a pain to park no matter where we go.
another reason I enjoy driving my rig.

RE: rcrocs. If you have a tentative team,they need to get their application and money in soon or they will incur a late fee.
All camping is by reservation only. We\'ve told a couple rather large groups to camp at one of the local campgrounds. We\'re telling smaller groups to plan on it being crazy and if possible, to camp elsewhere. If you are camping that weekend, I\'ll need to know what time the first of your group is arriving so we can find a place for you. If you\'re arriving after the office is closed, we may have you call myself or Tommy to find you space.
The problem we\'ve been having is the large amount of people showing up and they decide what\'s best for them (i.e. let\'s camp right here in the middle of the road, taking up extra space, reserving space for people who don\'t show up, and having campfires in the parking lot).
When you know what all your group is doing let me know.

We are planning on attending. Prolly with just he TJ, but possibly pulling the tiny trailer, will depend if the kids are coming or not.

the plan now is for the whole fam, so plan on the Jeep and the little trailer(already started packing it tonight). Are we gonna try to camp at Rausch or just go ahead and gets reservations for Camp-A-While?

I would prefer camping at Rausch, If there is room. I dont think it will be as bad as they say. We have camped there on other comp weekends without issue.

Looks like the Graham\'s, K9, and Gramps are going to be convoying together at around 6pm Fri. We are going to get reservations for Camp-a-while, but may try to stay at Rausch, still have not decided.
Anyone else want to join our convoy?

hopfully there is room for me to pitch in on one of the sites if RC kicks non competitors out. I believe Ryan, Cora, Erik, and myself are planing on camping at RC. Worst case, i wouldnt mind a shower anyway.

no, she was not sure, but she did say that if we were going to be after 10 pm to call her to get our assignments. I can call you to let you know where we end up.

Does not change anything, just makes me feel better about the big tent.
gCracker are we meeting at Cohocton again? at 5:30 or 6? Gramps is leaving from Ithaca. He could meet us at Painted Post.

We will be heading down friday morning (hopefully) and staying at RC. There is always room for sleeping on trailers (Smike) or in your tow rig (Ryan). They only threaten to kick people out if you are using a campsite w/ a fire ring.
we will probably be hanging around Josh\'s fire and not take up a campsite.

I can be at Cohocton at 6. I sent you & Mark an e-mail last night, did you get that? Looking at the map there looks to be a McDonalds in Painted Post that would be a good meeting spot for us to meet him, at about 6:45ish. Meet him and feed hungry kids all in one stop!
